Value for Money

"Value for money". That's what commerce is all about. You buy a new product and in return, your obtain value to help you do better in your own business. But so many times, the value that you buy just "doesn't add up".

At Simlog, we're working hard to make sure that this doesn't happen. Here's how.

Problems with the product
Everyone knows that many software products go out the door before they should.

But at Simlog, we're not racing to meet a Christmas holiday deadline, or hurrying to introduce a new feature before someone else does. Our products only become available when they are ready, never before. And when we do create new software versions, they're providing extra customer value in the form of new functionality.

Problems using the product
Simulators are typically complex hardware-software products and if you don't understand each and every component, then you'll run into trouble. All it takes is just one little thing to not work right, and then the whole simulator's not working right. There goes your customer value. And that's why typical simulator companies count on their customers to continue to pay an annual maintenance fee to provide the technical support that's required.

But there's still another factor to consider. Big hardware-software simulators include a trainer's station, so you need to have a trainer available to guide the simulator-based learning. The problem? Your trainer is already busy out in the yard, helping people with real seat-time. And if you don't have a "spare" trainer, then no simulator-based training can take place.

At Simlog, our unique Personal Simulators combine the simplicity of off-the-shelf simulator controls with special simulation software featuring an innovative instructional design. Our hardware-software products are easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to fix when something does go wrong. And the simulator-based training requires no trainer supervision; the exercises are pre-defined (there are hundreds!) and the simulation results are carefully saved for later review. We even make it easy to keep track of the simulation results.

Problems getting enough value from your product
When it comes to typical hardware-software simulators, getting enough value is hard to do: there's rarely enough simulator-based training time made available for each trainee to learn all that can be learned (at the simulator). And that's because there are always many people waiting in line for their turn at the (one) simulator, not to mention the time pressure to people into the seat of real iron to start doing real work.

With Simlog, everything's different because we're looking to you to provide your own PC. Now it becomes possible to deploy multiple Simlog stations at just a fraction of the cost of having one big one! And that means simulator-based help for many people at the same time and more help per simulator, making it possible for everyone to get ready properly for real seat-time.

Try before you buy!
Of course there's one "tried and true" way to address customer value problems: try before you buy.

And that's why, at Simlog, we're created a free Evaluation Mode to let you learn more about product functionality, and double check the suitability of your PC at the same time, all before you buy. We call that easy product evaluation. Of course, our Web site is full of pointers to additional information too about how our products work, and what our customers have to say.
