Replica Controls for Wheel Loader Personal Simulator
In addition to low cost PC Controls and the more expensive OEM Controls, Simlog also offers Replica Controls for our wheel loader simulation software that provide an intermediate level of realism at an intermediate price.
Replica Controls begin with an industrial USB joystick with 8 push-buttons for the lift arm and bucket control, along with horn, throttle lock, and kickout programming. Unit pricing is USD$975 (plus shipping/handling and applicable taxes).
For Stick Steering, add a second replica joystick for the steering control of the wheel loader articulation, along with pedals; see below for details.
For Steering Wheel Steering, add the "G27 Racing Wheel" from Logitech, consisting of a steering wheel, a three-pedal set, and a gear shifter with pushbuttons, to obtain the following simulator controls. Note that the joystick is shown with Simlog's table-top mounting bracket.
In most countries, the G27 is for sale in retail stores that sell computers or video games, but it may also be purchased from Logitech's on-line store (select the appropriate country, then the product, then "Buy Now").
Simlog also keeps a small number of G27 units in stock for resale to Simlog customers at the cost of USD$600 (plus shipping/handling and applicable taxes).
For Stick Steering, you will need to add pedals to the two replica joysticks, and there are two choices as follows.
First, Simlog offers an industrial USB-ready 3-pedal unit
to be used with the two replica joysticks, as shown here . Unit pricing for
the pedal unit is USD$500 (plus shipping/handling and applicable taxes).
Alternatively, you may wish to use just the pedals from the Logitech G27 "Racing Wheel" (as described above), but the pedal unit must be connected to the steering wheel to create the USB output for your PC.
