Introducing Simlog's Tower Crane Personal Simulator! Just set up the simulator controls (see below for details) and then install the simulation software (in English, French, or Spanish).

Finally, training that is completely safe, always available, and costs so little. Training that emphasizes best practices from the get-go.

Most any desktop or laptop PC will do. Then add a projector or big screen display for "life size" graphics, and quality speakers for the audio feedback. The fact is, there's a setup option to suit most every budget!

Simulation Software

Simlog's simulation software puts you at the controls of a modern freestanding top-slewing tower crane with trolley jib. Instrument readings include working slew angle, working radius, lowering depth (hook height), and load weight, displayed in metric or Imperial units. There's even a simulated three-way switch for hoist gear selection.

The Instructional Design breaks down the operator's work into a series of "Simulation Modules" of increasing difficulty to introduce the key parts of the real work, one step at a time. For each Simulation Module, key "Performance Indicators" measure how quickly and how carefully the simulated work is performed. For example, one productivity measure is execution time. Some quality measures are maximum load sway, number of load/obstacle collisions, and number of 2-blocking occurrences. A total of six simulation modules are provided of increasing difficulty designed, in part, to help operators prepare for CCO certification. You can even change the viewpoint during the simulation at the touch of a button.

Pricing

The price of the commercial software license for Simlog's Tower Crane Personal Simulator is just USD$3,500. International visitors may wish to use our currency converter to convert $USD pricing into another currency.

This is a one time fee, and there are no restrictions on the number of people that you can train with Simlog's help. When you consider that even small accidents due to inexperience can cost thousands of dollars in replacement parts and downtime, this is good value indeed, not to mention the improved training safety!

And if you're preparing for CCO operator certification, this is just a small addition to the investment you'll already be making in Examiner Accreditation and Test Site preparation! (Are all your operators ready to pass the exam first time out?)

Simulator Controls

Two kinds of simulator controls may be used:

Free Software Evaluation

At Simlog, we believe that "seeing is believing" so we offer a free Evaluation Mode for our simulation software. In Evaluation Mode, you can review all of the simulator functionality but there are just a few simulation exercises and they are time-limited. And since simulation results cannot be saved in Evaluation Mode, we provide sample simulation results as part of the complete on-line documentation. To learn more, please refer to the additional details about product evaluation.

Purchase your Software license

Purchasing your software license is easy, because there is nothing more to install (after the free software evaluation). Simlog will simply generate a License Key (a series of numbers and letters) for you to enter at the Simlog Start-up Window. (The License Key is based on the PC-specific, and product-specific, "License Code" that you will provide to Simlog.) You will discover that in Commercial Mode, all of the Personal Simulator's functionality becomes available, including hundreds and hundreds of pre-defined simulation exercises and the ability to save simulation results.
