Press Release
Montreal, September 26, 2001 - Simlog is pleased to announce the first international sale of its new Harvester Personal Simulator to SENAI (Serviço Nacional da Aprendizagem Industrial), the National Industrial Apprenticeship Service of Brazil.
Under the direction of Reinaldo Victor Tockus, SENAI recently created a new country-wide "Forest Harvesting" strategic project to offer training in Bahia, Espirito Santo, and Parana about mechanized logging.
Thanks to the power of the Internet and the world-wide distribution of the PC joysticks selected by Simlog for its Personal Simulators, SENAI was able to purchase the PC joysticks locally in Brazil and then download the necessary simulation software from Simlog. (For North American customers, Simlog bundles the PC joysticks along with the simulation software on CD-ROM.)
Simlog is proud to be with associated with SENAI's project to promote the forestry-related training in Brazil, and looks forward to additional international sales around the world wherever there are mechanized logging operations.
