Dearborn, April 29, 2004 - Simlog is proud to announce that the Mobile Crane Personal Simulator was awarded a special innovation prize by the Construction Innovation Forum (CIF).
The CIF is an international, non-profit, organization founded in 1987 to honour innovation in the construction industry. To that end, the CIF sponsors a yearly NOVA Awards competition to recognize especially worthy developments.
From a total of thirty-three innovations nominated last October, eight semi-finalists were selected for careful evaluation by teams of CIF-appointed specialists.
And tonight, at the Ford Conference and Event Center in Dearborn, Michigan, Simlog's Mobile Crane Personal Simulator was singled out for particular recognition by the CIF at its annual Innovation Celebration Banquet:
"The Mobile Crane Personal Simulator is the world's first software package designed for use on a personal computer with commercial joysticks, to provide professional training for operating mobile hydraulic cranes."
